We are looking to hire a Project Manager to act as Design Assurance Coordinator to lead a cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, and managing Engineering activities required to fulfill commitments for OEM and airline customer programs. The role requires excellent communication skills, ability to see the " picture" and ability to direct efforts appropriately on prioritized tasks.  

 

Duties:Participate in the development and analysis of customer requirements Represent Panasonic Avionics Corporation in OEMs design assurance meetings,whenever requested by OEMs 

To be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and updating the Design OrganizationInterface document between OEM and Panasonic 

To act as the focal point, the advisor, and the expert of design assurance activities for specificProject To deploy necessary OEM design assurance related trainings 

To implement, execute, and supervise surveillance plans and audit programs within PanasonicAvionics Corporation and its design suppliers 

To facilitate the assessment and monitoring activities performed by OEMs and /or aviationAuthorities in Panasonic Avionics Corporation and its design suppliers 

To contribute to the improvements to internal and external process Identify all customer deliverables which may include production items (mechanical, electronic and/or electromechanical assemblies), software, media, customer racks, documentation and systems Identify internal deliverables which may include plans, schedules and other documents, prototypes, test equipment, software, test racks and more Lead the team to coordinate design, development, documentation, integration, test and certification activities across functional groups to meet committed deliverables to customer schedule, cost and technical requirement 

Coordinate pre-production and design transfer to manufacturing 

Coordinate initial customer deliveriesApply standard techniques, procedures, processes and criteria to engineering assignments 

Conduct well planned, effective in-person and/or virtual meetings which drive actionsContinual process improvement
